Heavy snowfalls have seen work due to get under way in a Scottish Borders town centre delayed until the end of the month.
Resurfacing work at Market Street in Galashiels was due to get under way on Tuesday.
However, the region has been hit by bad weather prompting a rescheduling of the improvements.
The street will now be shut on 29 and 30 January as well as 3 February for the works to take place.
