Barcelona expect Arsenal to bid for goalkeeper Victor Valdes in the summer.
The 31-year-old is available for 8.5million after saying he will quit the club this summer with one year remaining on his contract.

Arsenal are continuing to weigh up their options with Liverpool's Pepe Reina one alternative.
Wojciech Szczesny has not made good on his potential this season and has been culpable for several goals with individual errors.
Liverpool are to sign Hungarian defender Kristof Polgar, 16, after he impressed on trial.

Wojciech Szczesny has been miles ahead of Howlmunia and Flappyanski. In all seriousness, Arsenal need another CB and RB/LB...possibly another CDM. The Gunners could do with another all around attacker. Apparently they have a huge warchest to spend this summer. Smart teams will inquire about Lallana, Michu, and the like...although I'd love to see Swansea keep Michu. Would make things interesting...

I would be happy with Reina, but seriously think we need a top top striker, a new winger who can play either side & central defender. These positions are much more critical. That's before we find out the futures of Diaby, Rosick, Sagna & anyone else, considering those wasters on loan & Arshavin.

If Arsenal are interested in Reina as a liverpool fan i would ask for Wojciech Szczesny in return. Dont know why Wenger doesnt trust Szczesny ?? He is a terrific player for his age.
