Arsenal have joined Tottenham and Juventus in monitoring Sochaux right-back Sebastien Corchia, 22.

Arsenal are weighing up various targets, including Feyenoord's Daryl Janmaat, as they look to replace Bacary Sagna who is expected to leave in the summer.

Sagna and the club are currently in the midst of a long-running contract stand-off, with the France defender currently refusing to sign a 12 month extension to his existing deal which would take him to the summer of 2015.

The deal would not include a pay-rise, meaning the player would remain on his current 60,000-per-week salary.

Sagna suffered two broken legs last season while he has complained of knee problems in recent months.

more like the spuds following what arsenal do as always.

OpenEyes: I'm pretty sure Sagna earns more than Bendtner, (60k a week to Bendtner's 50k-ish). Also, as great as Sagna has been for us, he's had TWO broken legs recently and is beginning to have serious knee problems. In light of that, I really don't think offering him a one year extension at 60k per week (3.12 million pounds per year) qualifies as 'treating him like dirt'! Even if he stays the extra year, with his health and age we need to be looking at replacements now anyway...

I don't understand Wenger, this guy has always been a hard worker and an asset to the club, yet they treat him like dirt, Bendtner was on a higher wage yet he never was as consistent and dedicated like Sagna.

he looks like a mix of joey barton and gareth bale lol
