Chance: Harry Wilson has been called up by Wales for their World cup qualifiers

Liverpool teenager Harry Wilson will become the youngest player to represent Wales if he plays against Macedonia or Belgium in their coming fixtures.

The 16-year-old has just been called into Chris Coleman's squad after the Wales manager suffered an injury crisis.

He is a rapid winger, known for scoring long-range strikes, who likes to switch flanks, and came through Liverpool's academy, which he joined aged eight from Wrexham.

Sportsmail brings you five things you didn't know about Harry Wilson...

1. Managed to get a 'C' in GCSE maths this year at the third time of trying.

2. Likes actor Denzel Washington ('doesn't do bad films') and Dynamo Magician ('this guy is on another level of craziness).

3. Dislikes Hollyoaks ('boring') and Peter Crouch's robot celebration ('worst celebration ever').

4. A huge fan of Gareth Bale and Ronaldinho, but his favourite players are Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta.

5. Manchester United passed up the opportunity to take him on as a youngster before he joined Liverpool.

Those five facts are an actual joke.

Good luck to the lad but the youth these days dress, act and pose as though they've already made it, oblivious to the fact the vast majority of them will end up lucky to get a game at Solihull Moors. You can talk about the fundamentals of training all you want as the reason why the national side struggles, but a dose of reality in a players formative years wont do any harm either

What a beautiful goal! Good lad! Happy to see stars like that in the Liverpool ranks!

That goal was a Gareth Bale classic, if he can do that at 16 playing 2 years above himself his future look bright.

GCSE maths 3 times? Shmurrrrrrrrr

Doesnt matter how many times it took to get a C. If you got a C first time then you are no better because employers won't know that they just see two people with the same grade.

a C in Maths at third attempt. how long will it take him to count the bins

Not everyone is good at Maths I am sure when he is earning his millions he like other player will ensure he has an accountant who knows every trick in the book good luck to the lad I hope he will one day be a huge star for my beloved Liverpool YNWA

another one to look out for from the LFC academy. Fantastic.

Good things happening at the academies of Liverpool and United atm. I think they will provide the core of the national team for years to come.
