Friends replied to the post in disbelief and asked Mr Medina what had happened.

Miami-Dade police report that 31-year-old Mr Medina turned himself in on Thursday, telling them he had shot 26-year-old Jennifer Alfonso. Detectives didn't immediately give a motive. Charges were pending.
