Brendan Rodgers wants Chelsea winger Victor Moses on a season-long loan at Liverpool.
Moses, who travelled with the Chelsea squad to Manchester and may make the bench on Monday night for the game against Man United, can leave Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea want a 2million loan fee for the 22-year-old, but Liverpool will try to secure his release on reduced terms. Moses earns 55,000 a week at Chelsea and Liverpool are reluctant to match that.

But they are still hopefuly of a deal as Moses prepares to leave Chelsea before the transfer deadline on September 2.
Rodgers hopes his long-standing relationship with Mourinho will help steer the deal in Liverpool's direction this week.
Moses has been told that Chelsea are unlikely to agree to his sale, but they will let the winger leave for a season.
Come on Jose! Brendan Rodgers has a good relationship with Mourinho and will try and secure kind terms
The chances of Moses and Juan Mata of getting in the Chelsea team have been reduced by the 30m arrival of Willian from Anzhi Makhachkala.
Moses has yet to make an appearance for Chelsea under Mourinho. Atletico Madrid want Mata on loan.

Yes, Liverpool going to need a biblical figure to do any good this season!

LFC have loaned Sissokho, and now they want Moses on loan as well. To me it is a good approach after the money that Kenny and Comoli blew on Carrol and Downing. Lesson learned... Let these players prove their worth in a red shirt before we decide to buy (risk management approach) basing on the fact that we are balancing our financials. We all know that Victor Moses is proven but Chelsea doesn't want to sell....what else can we do?

Let's buy young Edgar Balanta from River Plate. Future star center back.

@LondonDave, yes we'd all prefer Mata but I think Moses is more realistic. After all we dearly need a winger so that Coutinho will be freed to his natural CM role. BR wouldn't want to be a WENGER, who ambitiously bids for everyone and gets no-one!

Roberts Moses much better than Downing Better skill, more direct and quicker and has more end product to his game as his goals will attest. Will be a good addition to the Liverpool team . Will prefer a permanent deal than a loan but if that is not possible and Liverpool is not getting anyone in then go for a loan deal .

Just make a bid for Moses. Chelsea were stupid enough to sell their best striker for 12m. Maybe Rodgers will get lucky.
