London Welsh ended a run of five successive defeats with a comfortable bonus-point victory over Cavalieri Prato in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

Lee Beach, Dan George, James Lewis and Tom Arscott all went over in the first period to put the hosts in charge.

Cavalieri pulled a try back in the second half through Alfonso Damiani.

But Welsh responded with further scores from Alex Davies, who also kicked 17 points, Phil MacKenzie, Ashley Smith, Michael Hills and Arscott.
