Extreme weather conditions forced play to be abandoned for the second consecutive day at the PGA Tour's Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
Scores were scrapped on Friday because of high winds and heavy rain, while no play was possible on Saturday.
Organisers have cut the season opener to 54 holes, with 36 holes to be played on Sunday and the final 18 on Monday.
All the players will begin from scratch when the tournament does eventually start in Kapalua.
It will be the first time since the 2005 Players Championship that a PGA Tour round has been restarted.
Slugger White, the PGA Tour's vice president of rules and operations, said: "I went out there this morning about 6:30 (am). I dropped a ball on the 10th green, on the back of the green and (it) rolled 20 yards off the front of the green."
Ian Poulter is the only Briton in a 30-man field that also includes Masters champion Bubba Watson, 2011 US PGA winner Keegan Bradley and defending champion American Steve Stricker.
Second-round scores were scrapped after play was suspended because of high winds at the Women's British Open at Hoylake last year.
